I always wanted to travel this big continent called South America. My associations with it were adventure, rainforest, tango, wide landscapes and big cities. Not only the diversity it offers, but also the fact that I’ve never been there before attracts me to this continent. With a 10kg backpack, three friends and full of anticipation I flew to São Paulo where it all began. At that time I didn’t know that the next 5 months will be full of moments that I’ll always remember and that will change my life into a better and enrich my personality. Our route passed 9 countries: Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia and two centralamerican countries Panama and Costa Rica, we spent more or less than 9 days in bus and were sleeping in hostels at an altitude of 4400m or in hammocks at the beach. When you get to see so many beautiful places right after another, you’re loosing your enthusiasm and you take it for granted, but with the time I realized how special and fascinating everything was. Even when things didn’t worked out everytime I wouldn’t change anything. It was the best journey, with all the up and downs.
I can’t say which country or place is my favorite, because every place has it’s own beauty and that certain something, but here are some highlights I don’t want to deprive…
From South America with love,
